There are just no words...

I lost my dad today...there are just no words to describe this feeling.  I don't think our lives will ever be the same.

OMG! I am sooooo sorry for you! I stubbled onto your blog by way of the Big Red Scraps site and I was getting ready to follow you (which I still will of course) but I saw this post and my heart sunk!! I can't say I understand 100% how you feel, but I do know the pain of loosing a father! Actually, I lost both my Mommy and Daddy! I was 18 when my Daddy passed from cancer and 24 when I lost my Mommy to the same cancer monster!!! It has been over 17 years since loosing her and I think about her everyday! The only encouragement I can offer you is to know that life can take them away from us physically but it can never take away them from our hearts and souls! Your daddy is up in heaven looking down on you right now giggling because he is in a super wonderful place wishing you could see his big wide smile!!!! May sound silly - but I really believe that!!!! Take care and you will be in my prayers!! Shelley

Shelley, Thank you so much for your kind words. We are all still very raw and I think it still does not feel real. I am just trying to adjust to a new normal, whatever that may be. I too believe and know without a doubt my dad is in Heaven and with his Heavenly Father. He experienced the greatest of all Fridays on Good Friday, but we all miss him so much.

Thank you Shelley for your kind words. I know he's in Heaven and I will see him again. Having support from so many people...and even those I don't "know" really helps.
